| Description: TAHA, in association with Environmental Planning Associates, prepared an Initial Study for the proposed CARMAX development (18-acre site) in Inglewood, California. The Initial Study focused on several key issues including the displacement of existing businesses and residents, the air quality and noise impacts associated with this type of development, and circulation and traffic effects. Additionally, a specific study of the impacts associated with test-drive activities was undertaken to better reflect the impacts associated with the proposed project. TAHA developed mitigation measures to lessen air quality and noise impacts attributable to the construction and operation of the proposed project. |
