TAHA completed an EIR for the City of Beverly Hills on the following two projects:
SAKS FIFTH AVENUE: The project consisted of a zone proposal, specific physical development for the existing Saks Fifth Avenue store, a new retail store on the southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Peck Drive and two parking structures containing a total of 434 spaces.
BARNEYS NEW YORK: Historically, the project has been the location of department stores and specialty retail within the City of Beverly Hills. The project consisted of a zone proposal and specific physical development for the Barneys New York store in the eastern part of the new zone.
The zoning change involved the establishment of a new overlay zone for department store development on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard between Bedford Drive and Camden Drive, a variant of the existing C-R Overlay zone located directly west of the project site. The ten lot area affected by the zoning includes the address range from 9570 to 9638 Wilshire Boulevard.
